The analysis sets off from a brief summary of the birth of this television model, the way it developed, the technological and legislative conditions that allowed its growth, up to its characterization. Later, the article focuses on the several diagnosis on this object, the results and limitations detected by them, closing with a balance of the situation of this mass medium.
