The Future of Education Faculties after their Conversion to Postgraduate Studies Colleges: Saudi Arabia

The study aimed to identify the future of colleges after their conversion to postgraduate institutions, both in terms of reality and expectations. The descriptive analytical approach was utilised for this purpose. The sample of (300) faculty members in the education colleges was chosen at random; a questionnaire was used. more » ... ficant differences in the future of colleges of education after converting them to post-graduate studies colleges attributed to the scientific rank variable between the"Assistant Professor" and "Associate Professor" in favour of the latter category, as well as the job title variable, as there were statistically significant differences between the "Dean" and "Faculty Member" categories in favour of the former category. The research recommended allocating an adequate budget for colleges of education to provide laboratories supplied with computers and printing services, expanding projects to provide loans to outstanding students to complete graduate studies, and working to develop conditions for admission to postgraduate programmes and advancing their levels and quality.
