To the bridge covered by viscous debris flow sludge in highway, there has seriously potential safety hazards at the bridge structure, and it is easy to be damaged by the gradual covering load. The viscous debris flow sludge is prepared, whose bulk density is 19.75±0.14kN/m 3 and the slurry viscosity is 1.31±0.03Pa.s. It can be found that the surface layer of the viscous debris flow sludge will dehydrate and form crust after been placed for almost 10 days, and a prominent additional load will
