Enhancing students'environmental awareness

The study aimed to examine the effects of the instruction methods in the new Biology curriculum on ninth grade students' environmental awareness. The sample included 91 ninth grade students in a high school in Balikesir. Environmental Awareness Questionnaire was administered to all students as pretest and posttest. While the experimental group received the instruction methods used in the new Biology curriculum, the control group was taught by the traditional instruction methods. Observations
