The article provides an analysis of the regulatory requirements for the status of testing construction laboratories within the framework of the modern technical regulation system aimed at ensuring the safety of buildings and structures. A number of testing laboratories have been identified, which have received official recognition of competence by individual bodies, in particular the Federal Accreditation Service of Rosaccreditatiya, State Regional Centers for Standardization, Metrology and
more » ... ure (CSM), as well as voluntary certification systems. The scope of activities of such laboratories is indicated. The link between the regulatory and technical requirements for the activities of laboratories and the criminal code of the Russian Federation is given. Statistics on the number of accredited testing laboratories to date are given.
