Magnetic field measurements in XI Boo A

Four Zeeman spectrograms from Lick Observatory of £ Boo A and two of i Peg at 2Â mm -1 have been measured to determine if a weak magnetic field is present in £ Boo A. The results indicate that the field is too weak to be measured by this technique on these spectrograms, although remeasurements of spectrograms from Mauna Kea at 3.4 A mm -1 still give a positive field of 170 gauss.
