SurfacepropertiesofGeminisurfactants12鄄s鄄12(Et)(s=4,6,8,10,12) inethanol/watersolventswere studiedbymeasurementofsurfacetensioncurves.Valuesofthecriticalmicelleconcentration(cmc),surfacetension atthecmc(酌 cmc ),saturationadsorption(祝 max )andminimumareapersurfactantmolecule(A min )forGeminisurfactantsin variousethanol/watermixtureratiosweredetermined.Theeffectofethanoladditiononthecmcand 酌 cmc forthis seriesofsurfactantsystemsisdiscussed.
