injected intravenously every four or five days four or five times with increasing quantities of urine containing Bence-Jones protein. The amounts injected have been 2, 4, 8, 12 and 16 or 20 c.c. as a rule, and the animals have been bled on the seventh or eighth day after the last injection because at that time the antibody content of the serum usually has reached its high point.
