A 3-month-old girl was referred to our pediatric intensive care unit with a scorpion sting and convulsions. Cranial CT, MRI, biochmical parametres and complete blood count were normal. EEG revealed epileptiform activity. Scorpion stings is an important health problem in child age regarding to morbidity and mortality. more » ... a yoðun bakým ünitemize akrep sokmasý ve havale geçirme þikayetiyle getirildi. Olgunun kranial BT ve MRG incelemesi, tam kan sayýmý ve biyokimyasal deðerleri normal sýnýrlardaydý. EEG'sinde epileptiform aktivite varlýðý gözlendi. Çocukluk çaðýnda akrep sokmalarý morbidite ve mortalite açýsýndan önemli bir saðlýk sorunudur. Yaz aylarýnda sýk görülen akrep sokmalarýnýn nadir bir komplikasyonu olan konvulziyonu vurgulamak istedik.
