In the Holy Quran the two terms "Alabawain" and "Alwalidain" are mentioned, and they are given to the father and mother in particular, and each word has a special meaning that fits the context in which it is mentioned. The linguists and rhetorics have been interested in explaining the linguistic differences between the synonyms, and their effect on meaning such as Ibn Qutaybah and al-Khatabi, and Abdel-Qaher made it a must for the beauty of the Structure. more » ... x, and it is a building block in the Structure, and Ibn al-Atheer elaborated in explaining the effect of the word on the context of the meaning. Then I followed the two words in the Holy Quran and found that the word "Alwalidain" is closer to the mother who raised and worked hard, and the meaning is specific to the mother's side. The term came in the following meanings: ١-Allah's commandment to obey them in the word "wasaina".٢-The commandment with cognate accusative in the sentence with the deleted verb. ٣-It was mentioned in the supplications of the Prophets for their ١١٢١ ‫اﳌﺠﻠﺪ‬ ‫اﻟﻌﺎﴍ‬ ‫واﻟﺜﻼﺛﲔ‬ ‫اﻟﺴﺎدس‬ ‫اﻟﻌﺪد‬ ‫ﻣﻦ‬ ‫ﳌﺠﻠﺔ‬ ‫ﺑﺎﻹﺳﻜﻨﺪرﻳﺔ‬ ‫ﻟﻠﺒﻨﺎت‬ ‫واﻟﻌﺮﺑﻴﺔ‬ ‫اﻹﺳﻼﻣﻴﺔ‬ ‫اﻟﺪراﺳﺎت‬ ‫ﻛﻠﻴﺔ‬ ‫اﻟﻜﺮﻳﻢ‬ ‫اﻟﻘﺮآن‬ ‫ﰲ‬ ‫واﻷﺑﻮﻳﻦ‬ ‫اﻟﻮاﻟﺪﻳﻦ‬ ‫ذﻛﺮ‬ ‫ﰲ‬ ‫اﻟﺘﻨﻮع‬ ‫ﺑﻼﻏﺔ‬ parents. ٤ It was mentioned in the story of the disobedient boy with loving parents. The term "Alabawain" was mentioned, and it is closer to the father with regard to the father's side in the following topics: ١-Taking responsibility as stated in the verses of inheritance. ٢-To refer to parents and grandparents. ٣-used When the mother is not there. ٤-To refer to Adam and Eve.
