Leukocytosis associated with clozapine in elderly patient

Clozapine is the second‑generation antipsychotic which is approved by the US Food and Drug Administrationfor the treatment of refractory schizophrenia. Clozapine is unfortunately associated with number of adverseeffects, one of the chief concerns is agranulocytosis and occasionally leukocytosis, i.e. elevation of whiteblood cell count.
