Shallows is one of the award-winning works of Tim Winton. Winton is a famous contemporary Australian writer. At present, the study of this novel by scholars and experts is limited to the interpretation of the ecological theme. The analysis of this paper is based on Shallows, using humanism nature theory to analyze the characters in the novel, the actions the dialogue and the mind of people to reveal the awakening of human nature.
