Riau Province has extensive forest resources such as peatland potential. But the forest resources that are the lifeblood of this life have not been managed optimally. Forestry problems in Riau Province have shifted from illegal logging to illegal logging and land tenure by the private sector. These activities cause forest destruction, critical land, and the worst is forest fires that cause smoke haze every year.
