Attachment plays a vital role in our lives from birth to death. Some of our most important adult relations can be conceived of as attachments. For at least a minority of the population these important bonds include that with a psychotherapist. There is a growing body of literature dealing with client-psychotherapist relation as attachment, but the adequate instrument to measure this phenomenon is still missing.
