Homelessness as a Determinant of Health Disparities Between Young Gay and Bisexual Males in Chicago

There is limited research documenting health disparities between gay and bisexual males. This study examined health behaviors and outcomes-substance use, mental health, and homelessness-of young gay and bisexual males in Chicago. Data was from a cross-sectional survey of 180 bisexual and gay males age 16-24. Bivariate results indicate that bisexual males experience higher rates of homelessness, daily marijuana use, depressive symptoms, lifetime gonorrhea and chlamydia. Logistic regression
