In this work we present MoDisSENSE, a distributed analytics platform for social networking services over mobile devices. ... perience. The datastore follows a hybrid approach to handle both raw and processed data, simultaneously covering the need for scalability and fast query processing. Thus, the platform is able to resolve complex, multi-parameter, socially charged queries over Points of Interest in the order of milliseconds even under heavy load.
