Effect of Heat Treatment and Pulse Plasma Process on Surface Properties of Steels
2017
Acta Physica Polonica. A
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of heat treatment and pulse plasma treatment on surface properties of AISI 1050 steel used in this work. Firstly, the heat treatment was applied to samples for 2 h at 860 • C. The quenching media were selected as water and oil and air cooling was applied. The tempering process was applied at different temperatures like 600 • C, 500 • C, 400 • C and 100 • C. Having completed the heat treatment, the pulse plasma process was applied to all samples.
