Annelerin Çocuklarının Sağlıklı Beslenme Alışkanlıkları Edinmesi Konusundaki Farkındalıklarının Değerlendirilmesi

Objective: Nutrition is essential not only in terms of ideal growth of the baby, but also in terms of being the determinant of the healthiness during infancy, childhood, and adulthood and adopting healthy eating habits that continue a lifetime. more » ... to Inonu University Faculty of Medicine Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition outpatient clinic, between January-March 2020, for any reason. Results: When evaluated according to the education level of the mothers, the rate of using only sugar and the use of salt and sugar decreased as the education level increased (p <0.05; p˂0.001, respectively). When evaluated according to mothers' educational status, the use of television, tablet, telephone (TTT) increased statistically as the education level increased (p = 0.023). Conclusion: In our study, we observed that mothers' knowledge about feeding their babies correctly, avoiding salt and sugar is suboptimal. Obesity, hypertension, and multimedia addiction, which are the common diseases of our age, can be prevented by raising mothers' awareness about correct eating habits.
