The commune of Kpomassè, in Benin, faces serious environmental problems that have a direct impact on the health of the population. ... frastructures are rare in Kpomassè. More than 53% of households still use water from unprotected wells, 1.9% use lake water for their toilet water, crockery and drinking water needs. This situation causes several diseases, the most frequent of which are malaria (44.21%), acute respiratory infections (16.06%) and gastrointestinal diseases (13.17%). To guarantee good health to the populations of Kpomassè, the town hall must encourage the multiplication of drinking water points in its territory and actively participate in raising the awareness of these citizens on environmental management and hygiene and work to install and environmental management and hygiene système.
