Research Title: Advanced Engine Dampers Mr. Handy began his graduate program in the Fall of 1990. He is designing a test apparatus to experimentally determine the performance of a gas swirl damper for aircraft engine rotors. He also plans to develop an analytical model to guide the experiments.
