graduated from t h e Hartford, Conn., High School in 1891, he went t o Wind sor, Conn., a n d entered t h e employ of the E d d y Electrical Manufacturing Company. I n 1894 h e was made fore man of t h e armature department, a n d in 1897 was appointed general foreman of t h e winding departments. On Sep tember 27, 1901, while holding this same position, h e was elected a n As sociate of t h e Institute. After having been in t h e service of t h e Carborundum Company for several years, M r .
more » ... gers was appointed general superin tendent in 1910, which position h e occupied a t t h e time of his death. R e c o m m e n d e d f o r T r a n s f e r N o v e m b e r 11 a n d 2 0 , 1913 T h e Board of Examiners, a t its meet ings on November 11 a n d November 20, 1913, recommended t h e following mem bers of the Institute for transfer t o t h e grades of membership indicated. A n y objection t o these transfers should be filed at once with t h e Secretary.
