Primary neuroendocrine carcinomas of the breast (NEBC) represent a rare subtype of breast cancer, accounting for 2-5%. They generally present a more aggressive clinical form with a strong tendency to local and distant recurrence compared to other types of invasive breast carcinoma and they do not present specific clinical or radiological characteristics.
