An Experimental Study of the Cells of the Hepato-Pancreas of Ligia

In order to study the cells of the hepato-pancreas, a number of Ligia oceanica were procured from the Marine Laboratory at Plymouth. They were kept alive by feeding on decaying animal and vegetable matter moistened with sea-water.
