Hemofiltration and direct hemoperfusion with activated charcoal and the like have been reported as the methods of non-dialysate dialysis. However, with these two methods, high T. M. P. and special devices are usually required to remove enough fluid. This method features that fluid removal can be controlled by the quantity of the absorbent and that dialysis can be performed at any place without any special device. We shall make a report of the study for a new possible dialyzer in terms of the effects on electrolyte concentration and mass transfer and correlation of T. M. P. and fluid removal.
