A study on paddy crop (var. Pusa Sugandha-5) was conducted at CIAF Bhopal in which seedlmes were transplanted at 25 x 25 cm sapacing using drop irrigation system. Conventional practice of paddy cultivation under ponding, systems of rice intensification (SRI) with alternate wetting & drying and SRI with drip emitters. Spaced at 20, 30 and 40 cm with recommended doses of fertilized were studied. Highest yield of 7.06 ton/ha was obtained with 20 cm drip spacing under SRI method. The waste

Maximum plant hight (76.45 cm) and to root length (18.23 cm) was also recorded is drip with 20 cm spacing. Highest yield and yield parameter viz no. of effective teller (264.75) no. of gracious is gearheads (161.75) length of earheads (27.52 cm) weight of earheads (3.41 gm) yield (70.65 q/ha) and water productivity were also determined with 20 cm spaced drips.
