Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) , platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) , lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) and progressive nutrition index (PNI) are known as inflammation based prognostic scores (IBPS) , and have been reported as prognostic indicators for various cancers.
