In the period between 1998-2000 studies were conducted on the influence of three levels of nitrogen fertilization: 50, 100, and 150 kg N/ha, on the yield and quality of five spring wheat cultivars: 'Broma', 'Ismena', 'Jasna', and 'Torka'. The investigations were carried out at the Felin Experimental Station, Lublin. The yield of grain and the harvest index and the total content of protein and wet gluten in the grain was determined.
