The purpose of this research was to knowthe influence of classical music therapy to decrease pain scale in patients post-surgery in RSUD H. Abdoel Madjid Batoe Muara Bulian Jambi. This study was a quasi experiment design with one group design without control. Sampling using purposive sampling with a sample of 36 respondents . Based on the results of the bivariate analysis known that there was an effect of music therapy on pain scale decrease in postoperative patients with a p-value of 0.002. This study shows that classical music can be used to reduce patient postoperative pain scale.
