Exhaust Emission Level Reduction Process in Si Engine by Isopropyl Alcohol as Gasoline Additive
2020
International journal of recent technology and engineering
Alcoholic fuels have some significant advantages over other alternative fuels. The alcoholic fuels can be implemented in existing engines and they have the capability of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In this experimental analysis, the performance and emission characteristics of Spark Ignition (SI) engine using isopropyl alcohol as additive to petrol and kerosene. This experimental evaluation deals with strategically analysis of SI engine by using two different combinations of fuels.
