The New Role of Macedonian Customs Administration

A study on the phenomenon of organized crime aimed to a common understanding -without claiming to be exhaustive -must start from a definition of the concept of organized crime. Such a concept, indeed, logically precedes the explanation of the situation relevant to the various types of illicit activity. By the changes of the Law of Criminal Procedure of Republic of Macedonia, the Customs administration has been given new jurisdictions in the fight with customs crime and the crime complemented to it, struggle and fight with organized crime.
