The dynamics of the microtubule assembly are significant both for the study of cell function and structure. Abnormal function of the assembly is involved in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. Currently, microtubule dynamics are typically analyzed manually. We present an algorithm that quantifies the microtubule dynamics automatically. Thus, it allows a more extensive understanding of the assembly.
