Abstract:Degraded mangrove areas have increased and become a critical issue in Riau, Indonesia. Thus, local people are required to use and manage the remaining natural resources sustainably. In this study, interviews and network analysis were applied to identify the connections and strengths of mangrove ecosystem functions and services, and human wellbeing which this ecosystem brings to three ecotourism villages.
