Aim: Was to explore the relationship between insight and felt stigma among psychiatric patients. Methods: The research design was descriptive explorative study. ... iew schedule. Results: The results revealed that, there was a statistically significant relation between patients' diagnosis and insight. The results showed statistically significant relation between patients' insight and its stigma. Psychotic illness contributes to poor insight and high stigma in most schizophrenic patients. Conclusion: The study concluded that psychotic illness contributes to poor insight and high stigma in most schizophrenic patients. Single patients with previous admission to hospital, living in rural area, all contribute to poor insight in Psychiatric patients.
