We are researching 64APSK coded modulation for the purpose of expanding the transmission capacity for satellite transmission. In the conventional 64APSK coded modulation design based on channel capacity, the influence by non-linear transmission path was not considered. In this report, we describe the design method considering non-linear distortion and equalization performance and show that better transmission performance than the conventional one can be achieved with the proposed method.
