One of the tribes in the Moluccas which still holds the tradition of Sasi is Kei tribe in Southeast Maluku regency. The results showed that overall people has a positive perception on the implementation of coconut sasi. Community has to understand and realize the functions and benefits of coconut sasi for their lives. In view of the community, there are a lot of social value and natural resource conservation and economic benefits gained. Good perception of these tradition of coconut sasi, shaping people's behavior which actively participated in the implementation of coconut sasi, and obey and respect the rules that apply in coconut sasi. In maintaining the culture and traditions of coconut sasi, community will have challenge from the community itself and challenges from outside the community. Preserve the culture of coconut sasi is the right step as a form of sustainability in the community.
