High-Pressure Synthesis of Diamond from Organic Compounds
1992
Proceedings of the Japan Academy. Series B, Physical and biological sciences
Diamond has been synthesized from cyclic hydrocarbons under high pressures between 6 to 9 GPa and high temperatures ranging from 710 to 1290°C. The result offers a clue to the genesis of diamond in the deep interior of the earth.
