The composite materials are swapping the conventional materials, owing to its sophisticated properties for instance high tensile strength, low thermal expansion, high strength to weight ratio. The evolution of new materials is on the anvil and is budding gradually. An angle section is the first structural shape produced and most commonly used as a traditional structural member. Its compactness, lightness in weight and economic transportation is also favored by the construction industries However; angle section is difficult proposition from analysis point of view, as it is difficult to apply force and moment on its centroid, which lies outside the section. Shear center and the centroid do not coincide; hence, force applied to any point other than the shear center produces an additional moment about the shear center. In general, loading is applied on an angle section which is also described as the flexural loading along its geometrical axis Composite materials are very light and strong better resistance corrosion and hence much worn in aerospace industry and ship and boat. They are also readily obtainable. Composites are further alienated into major two classifications they are resin material and matrix material. In this study, an L-angle plate made of composite material and mild steel material is available in the market designed and the analysis of this plate was done by using Ansys software and analyzing results were compared between existing steel plate and composite materials. GFRP material was used as an alternative for mild steel plate. The design of L-Angle plate was done by using Pro-E software.
