Epidemiological data indicate that in the last period there has been an increase in the number of malignancies and among them lung cancer is one of the most common forms. In vitro studies based on the usage of immortalized cell lines are an important source of scientific knowledge for understanding of the mechanism of cell growth, proliferation and cell death.
