THE GOSPEL AND HYMNOGRAPHY OF THE FEAST OF TRANSFIGURATION: THE PROBLEM OF INTERTEXTUALITY
2020
Studiul Artelor şi Culturologie: Istorie, Teorie, Practică
The article is dedicated to the study of the intertextual relationship between the texts of the Gospel (as a source text) and hymnography (as a recipient text) using the example of the singing cycle of one of the most important feasts of the annual liturgical circle of the Orthodox Church — the Transfiguration. The work presents in detail the ways of translating gospel quotes, as well as their singing interpretation.
