W e have experienced a case of a relatively rare traumatic dislocation of the extensor tendon of the hand. The injury was caused by worm-flipping motion. We performed an operation on the next day of the injury occurrence. The operation method we adopted was the knotted suture of the intertendinous fascia and the sagittal band as a lump. In terms of reinforcement, we everted and sutured a part of the extensor tendon to the interosseous tendon. We did not observe recurrence of dislocation at the postoperative 6th month.
