Investigating the impact of gender development in child-robot interaction

In order to inform the important consideration when designing robotic applications for children, in this paper we describe and report the results of the preliminary study we conducted in a primary school. Our work investigates the impact of gender development by examining children's perceptions of robot's gender and age on levels of expressed happiness towards the robot.
