Effects of the Leadership and Influences of Follower's Self-Asserting Onthe Human Relationship between a Leader and a Follower

Apurpose of this study is to examine how the leadership or foIlower ' s self − asserting influences the human relation between a leader and a fol 正 ower . Four factors ( technical coachillg , absolutc management , control of the human relation in his group , and ability to command his group )consti − tute the function of the leadership . And self − asserting was classified according to the degree of marks ( higher or lower than the aver . age mark ).Subjects are 207 male students who are currently active in extracurricu 且 ar athletic clubs in junior high school . This research was conducted by thc ques 七 ionnaire method , Sjgnificant results were as fo旦 旦 ows : ( 1)afoLlower , who asserted himself strongly , was very satisfied witll his leader . ( 2)followers were more satisfied wi 亡 h active leaders or with democratic ones than absolute leadcrs or than laissez − faire ones . These results may suggest that follower ' s seH − asserting is one of important factors affecting the hu 皿 an re1ation between a Ieader and a follower , too.
