It was found that the gingival condition improved and probing depth decreased more in the patients that received clorhexidine mouth wash before and after periodontal surgery than in the patients that didn't receive this mouth washes, suggesting that the clorhexidine mouth wash will favor wound healing after the periodontal surgery.
