This chapter presents the results of a multiannual systematic research and development of essentially new environmental safety technology of overlapping tailing pond modelled in terms of Vojany thermal power plant (EVO), Slovakia. Re-cultivated tailing area can be used to produce biomass (Swedish willow) and this biomass is used again for subsequent incineration with coal.
