For the second time during WWII, in August 1944. the 15th Infantry Lom Regiment went into occupation mission in Yugoslavia. First Occupation Corps (General Assen Nikolov) is in tatters and the task of the regiment is to gather disorganized Bulgarian troops and place them in Bulgaria. Thanks to the commander of the 15 th Infantry Lom regiment Colonel Ivan Kehayov this task is successfully executed.
