Study of motional parameters calculation and tooth cutting experiment based on the new type of tilt milling machine

To improve the machining efficiency and reduce the overall manufacturing cost, a new model of machining hypoid gears by tilt cutting method is setup. Unlike the traditional cradle-style mechanical machines, the new model has no cradle and eccentric drum, the tool swivel drum is controlled by NC system.
