A Multimodal Sound Installation for Experiential Learning

Sound is an evanescent phenomenon that can convey information about the world around us. Unfortunately, explaining the production, propagation, and perception of sound to non-experts through a theoretical approach can be a goal hard to achieve. In this paper we will discuss an alternative way, based on an unmediated fruition of a multimedia installation originally conceived as an artwork.
