Education, Culture and Heritage: A Proposal for Use of YouTube Videos in High School

This paper described a new teaching methodology based on the use of social networking of YouTube videos. It was developed with high school students in a Technological High School-ETEC President Vargas, in Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo, Brazil. The students were invited to develop critical appointments about the cityscape, unveil the simplest cultural heritage of everyday life. After this they created a channel on YouTube called Citizenship Dialogue, in which 31 videos are available until present
