The H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) is an unmanned transfer vehicle that will rendezvous with manned facilities and deliver up to six tons of cargo. HTV is a key space transportation system technology in Japan together with the H-IIA/H-IIB launch vehicle and is designed to fully satisfy the manned safety requirements of the International Space Station (ISS) program.
