A recently-constructed fiber-fed CCD-equipped spectrograph of the oif-plane Ebert-Fastie type is described. Design goals were stability and efficiency, coupled with optical properties suitable for a diode array detector. Key elements in the design are described and the focal surface as well as aberrations are calculated. The limiting performance is investigated for four gratings and two levels of S/N per pixel, 100 and 10.
